HOW DO I DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT IT IS WORTH SENDING OUT MY MOTOR FOR REPAIR?

-Well, the answer is easy. First determine the cost of a new unit including shipping & tax, and compare the price to our rebuilt. We strive to keep costs down to about half of a new unit including shipping & tax. (Out of state orders is tax exempt). We also provide similar warranties which factories provide with their products, and since we rebuild to factory specs using premium materials, our motors will last just as long as brand new units.

WHAT IS YOUR USUAL TURN AROUND TIME?

-At Laundry Motors we know how important it is for your machines to be up and running, and that is why we stock most big name washer and dryer motors on the shelf for immediate exchange. If for some reason we do not have your particular motor on the shelf, we will get started immediately on a rebuilt for pick up or shipping. Rewinds will usually take up to three business day to ship out where as mechanical repairs are usually shipped out the next business day.

DO YOU OFFER QUANTITY DISCOUNT’S?

-YES, quantity discounts are available. If you have several of one type of motor, let us know and we’ll do our best to get you a better price on our already discounted prices.

WHAT TYPE OF WARRANTY CAN I EXPECT WITH MY REBUILT MOTOR?

-We offer a 1 year limited warranty for all rewinds which will be enclosed within your package. A 90 day warranty will apply to all mechanical repairs excluding rewinds. Also within your package, you will find a Motor Performance Test and Inspection Waiver. This form will explain possible causes of motor failure and work completed by us, also it explains motor tag information including correct amperage readings at full and amperage readings after necessary improvements have been made, This form does not waive our warranty however it must be used as a guideline when reinstalling, and a determining factor of a now non problematic motor.

HOW DO I GO ABOUT SHIPPING MY PACKAGE TO LAUNDRY MOTORS?

-We have had great success using UPS Ground. They are accustomed to larger, heavier packages and are always on time. Larger motors, such as front load washer motors should be placed within a perforated plastic milk crate lined with cardboard, and placed within a carton box. This method of packing will save time and money by terminating wood crate construction. Smaller motors within carton boxes lined with crushed paper or cardboard are sufficient. Please include within the box, an introduction letter with good contact info and shipping information.

WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENT TERMS DO YOU ACCEPT?

-We accept all major credit cards including AMEX and payment can be given over the phone or via email. Personal checks are also accepted, but must be received and processed before your item is shipped out to you. C.O.D.’s can be arranged with a surcharge of $15.00.
